DERMAL FILLERS

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance found in your skin. It is hydrophilic in nature and it can absorb and hold water .HA acts as a lubricant between collagen & elastin. It influences the appearance of the skin by adding volume to it. As we age, we start to lose HA, which causes the skin to lose structure and volume, contributing to the formation of wrinkles and folds. The role of hyaluronic acid in the skin is to deliver nutrients, hydrate the skin by holding in water, and to act as a cushioning or lubricating agent between collagen and elastin.
